Palenke Soultribe, created in 2005 in Los Angeles, lit up the stage at the Conga Room. The show served as a CD release party and concert for their album Oro that carries 10 tunes of pure Afro-Colombian electro sounds. Palenke Soultribe, who are Colombian based, are thrilled with their solid production.

“We are very excited with this production and we cannot wait for the public to hear it,” group member Andres Zuluaga said.

Oro is a true masterpiece when it comes down to underground breakbeats, and its feature collaborations are prominent. “Corazon Bonito” (Beautiful Heart) is quite the rhythmic song, featuring Mr. Vallenato and Cesar Pilego. What makes the song unique and stand out is its Colombian folkloric arrangements mixed in with electronic elements alongside the accordion addition.
