Much like the president himself, “Lil’ Bush” can be a very polarizing cartoon show. A young George W. Bush and his “cronies” (Condy, Cheney and Rummy) engage in cartoony mayhem based on the events of the day. The series seems to swing between insightful and inane and, depending on your party affiliation and patience with low humor, can either come off as brilliant or boring.

The DVD does offer some intriguing extras. There’s a never-before-aired episode, but the strangest extra is a set of three commentaries, one by Jerry Springer, one by MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson and one featuring Ralph Nader.

Grade: B+
