Troubadours, the first film by Tom Galassi, Tom Snyder and Adam Galassi, examines the days of a 20-something young man living in the big city who is more than unhappy with his life. He feels disconnected, though his cell phone rings constantly, and can’t escape the feelings of finding his girlfriend in bed with another man. Feeling that there’s nowhere left to turn to, he returns to his family’s farm and old friends to collect his thoughts and find where he belongs.

This talented group of young filmmakers has crafted a beautiful, thoughtful, highly impressive film. It’s full of honest acting, a perfectly chosen score and a message that many of us can relate to whether we want to or not.
