Mostly for the diehard silent comedy fan, this three-disc set features a collection of hard to find shorts (many available for the first time) from some of the cinema's lesser-known clowns.

Highlights include a young Harold Lloyd, who got his start as Lonely Luke, a rip off of Chaplin's Tramp character. Indeed many of the shorts here feature Champlin imitators, like Billy West. Also, included are some of Lloyd's first "glasses" shorts, featuring the persona that made him a star.

Other performers featured are snub Pollard, Oliver Hardy, Chaplin's half-brother, Syd, and Lloyd's brother, Gaylord.
