Italian master of horror Dario Argento’s latest is the third in a loose trilogy of films about witchcraft, which includes Suspiria and Inferno. Asia Argento is a museum researcher who stumbles upon unearthed artifacts and unwittingly unleashes evil forces.

Now every witch in the world is descending on Rome. Ordinary people are turning homicidal or going crazy.

While far from Argento’s best, the film does contain scenes of genuine suspense and gruesome gore. And of course, it’s beautifully shot.
