Many colleges have grabbed national headlines over the past year as student victims at these institutions, like Occidental College, Dartmouth, USC, UC Berkeley and others, continue to speak out about their colleges' mishandling of sexual assault cases, demanding justice and change.
Thanks to their efforts, the federal government has been working to stop the epidemic with the help of a task force. Step one: investigate the dozens of colleges that have been found guilty of violating Title IX, the gender equality law.
