American Vanity, the LA-based CBD-infused luxury skincare line, held a launch party last night at the Sunset Tower Hotel, a landmark, art deco property that dates from the 1930s. The brand held court in the hotel's penthouse as it showcased a variety of its new limited-edition products that feature proprietary blends and naturally pure and potent ingredients to create a new way to achieve the highest quality and effective skincare.
A mix of celebrities, media, and influencers came together with the American Vanity team to celebrate this launch. Guests drank specialty cocktails including the brand's own, "American Vanity" a vodka, soda with lime libation or the appropriately named, "Golden Age" featuring tequila, fresh basil, hand squeezed lemon and fresh ginger. As guests mingled, the wait staff passed out delicious hors d'oeuvres including tuna poke on crispy rice, Beyond Meat sliders and mini lobster rolls.
Ethically sourced, formulated, and manufactured in Los Angeles, the American Vanity line was started by co-founders Mary Nguyen, entrepreneur and life-long skincare enthusiast, and celebrity esthetician Veronica Barton-Schwartz. With decades of combined skincare and business experience, the two extraordinary women created a cutting-edge brand with a purpose: to empower through beauty and self-care.
"American Vanity believes that loving yourself is not frivolous or vain but a necessary part of self-care," expresses co-founder Mary Nguyen. "We honor inner beauty, confidence, and authenticity. We support our customers in their quest to look, feel and be their best. Our products intend to inspire a no-limits growth mindset that will unlock every human's ability to change the world."
With 20 years of manufacturing and formulating experience and nearly 40 years in professional esthetics, the team at American Vanity has created a genuinely science-based approach to CBD skincare. Their specially formulated and ultra-absorbent BioAdvance CBDTM uses a water-dispersed organic CBD isolate (the purest form of the compound), which has demonstrated up to thirty times the absorption factor of traditional or "neat" CBD.
CBD has been shown in early studies to calm irritated skin, reduce redness and acne, and lessen the visible signs of aging. "I am truly excited to be a part of the next phase of skincare. With American Vanity, we are striving to build a brand that is not only authentic in every aspect of its operation and communication but also produces useful skincare products. I am particularly excited about incorporating the healing and anti-inflammatory properties of BioAdvance CBD, "added Schwartz.
