CHUCKY: THE KILLER DVD COLLECTION

(Universal)

For legal reasons, the original Child's Play was left out of this four-movie set. But when you have such cult gems as Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky , it's hard to be too upset.

The embossed packaging is pretty sweet, too.

Extras: Commentaries on Bride (two of them) and Seed , two behind-the-scenes features, Jennifer Tilly “Tonight Show” appearance.

THE STEPHEN KING COLLECTION

(Paramount)

Includes four DVDs: Pet Sematary: Special Collector's Edition , The Dead Zone: Special Collector's Edition , Graveyard Shift and Silver Bullet . Extras: Behind-the-scenes features, interviews and director commentary on Sematary . King, oddly enough, is mostly absent.

IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN

(Paramount)

It's not quite as renowned as the Christmas Special, but as “Peanuts” specials go, this one's a close second. Extra: 25-minute “You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown” cartoon, just in time for that other scary day that's coming up.

THE MUNSTERS: TWO-MOVIE FRIGHT FEST

(Universal)

The only thing frightening about “The Munsters” is the pending 2007 big-screen remake. But that's neither here nor there.

This two-film set includes Munster, Go Home! and the less faithful but still-passable The Munsters' Revenge . No extras.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY/ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES

(Paramount)

Both movies in one cheap (both price – and extras – wise) package. No extras.
