The Pat Brown Institute at Cal State LA will present a screening of the documentary No Más Bebés on Thursday, Oct. 29, 6-10 p.m., at the University-Student Union Theatre. A panel discussion to follow. The film tells the story of Madrigal v. Quilligan, a historic lawsuit filed by 10 Chicanas/Latinas who discovered they were sterilized in the 1970s without their consent at L.A. County General Hospital. Co-Sponsored by the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Cal State LA.
