Geoffrey J takes the stage, grabs his guitar and flashes a youthful grin at the audience. His disarming smile and shy demeanor draws them in. As his low-toned voice starts to emerge, one cannot help but take notice. Geoffrey J delivers his music with an honest and raw delivery, with straightforward rock ’n’ roll melodies.

Geoffrey J arrived in Los Angeles in the summer of 2010. A driven young singer-songwriter, who has gained much attention, playing festivals and local venues, he has also released two full-length studio albums. His music has received rave reviews and thousands of downloads as well as airplay on several radio stations.

As a songwriter, his melodies range from roots-rock to folk. His songs offer a large amount of passion for such a young performer. His organic approach to songwriting allows his lyrics to be vulnerable yet direct. His melodies sometimes haunting, are also upbeat, memorable and consistently entertaining.

Geoffrey J has been influenced from the work of such industry legends as John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and David Bowie and applied them to a collection of music that instantly qualifies him as one of the most dynamic and mature songwriters to emerge in recent memory.

The Geoffrey J experience, changes based on his environment. As a solo performer, he exudes a brooding intimate performance with a touching sensibility that is rarely seen in most performers. With a full band or duo, there is a bold brash sound that drives his melodies and brings his audiences to their feet.
