No surprise here. The Lakers are planning to exercise the contract option they have on center Andrew Bynum, who was an All-Star for the first time this year. Los Angeles must exercise the center's $16.1 million option by June 30. "I want to sign," Bynum told ESPNLosAngeles.com following the Lakers' shootaround in Houston on Tuesday. "I want to be a Laker. Bynum, who is 24 years old, is averaging 18.1 points and 12.9 rebounds per game.
