Still haven’t figured out your summer plans? The University of California Riverside has two amazing opportunities to help you make the most of your summer break.

Want to travel to Europe? The UC Riverside Summer Study Abroad Program is a great way to experience new cultures and explore new places, while also earning credits towards your degree. This year, UC Riverside is giving all UC and visiting students a chance to live in the exciting city of Madrid, Spain.

The capital city is home to numerous historical landmarks, as well as a vibrant nightlife (flamenco dancing anyone?) and delicious cuisine. This year’s program is taking place June 25 to July 28. Don't let financial concerns hold you back --program assistance and scholarship opportunities are available through your school's Financial Aid Office.

Participating students will earn eight units of UC credit by taking two classes during the five-week program. For more information and to download an application, visit www.summerstudyabroad.ucr.edu.

Looking to stay local? Make the most of your summer by enrolling in UC Riverside’s Summer Sessions. All UC and visiting students are welcome to enroll in this opportunity to get back on track or finish your degree. Classes are offered both day and night, and participants can choose from eight sessions, three to 10 weeks in length. As always, UC Riverside’s location offers easy freeway access and parking.
