The Los Angeles Galaxy captured a 2-0 win over the visiting Colorado Rapids Friday night at The Home Depot Center in Carson. Irish striker Robbie Keane scored his 12th goal on assists from Landon Donovan (12) and Marcelo Sarvas. Christian Wilhelmsson added the other goal.

With the win, the Galaxy are now in third place of the Western Conference. They carry 46 points, just like Real Salt Lake, but L.A. holds a better goal differential - which is the tie breaker.
