Kobe Bryant became the youngest to score 30,000 points in a Los Angeles Lakers 103-87 victory over the Hornets in New Orleans on Dec. 5. At 34 years and 104 days of age, Bryant became the fifth player in league history to reach the milestone, joining Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387), Karl Malone (36,928), Michael Jordan (32,292) and Wilt Chamberlain (31,419).
