New York’s Fashion Week kicked off today, with more than 90 designers beginning to reveal their looks for next fall/winter. The reigning tones clung to neutrality, with shades of grays, blacks and dark blue; however, the color that kept popping up in designs over the course of the day was a dark, smoky purple hue. As far as the designs themselves, they tended to be more of the conservative layers we’ve seen in the past autumn collections.
