Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and you’ll have to choose something to wear. Girls' night, date night or casual night – doing it with style is a must. Looking your best means feeling your best, and on a holiday where you’re constantly thinking about feelings, a little style can go a long way.

DON’T throw on that one red top we all know you grabbed out of your closet just for Valentine’s Day. One word: corny.  Just because it’s Valentine’s Day, it doesn’t mean you have to wear a red shirt. For a casual and celebratory look, try a neutral colored tee with a red or pink blazer and a pair of jeans. Or for a more subtle touch, red heels will do just the trick.

DO wear your most romantic dress for your date. Valentine’s Day is all about romance, and for a romantic date, you want to look your absolute best. This doesn’t mean throwing on the only red dress you have. Besides, who wants to be one of 50 girls in a restaurant all wearing red dresses? This year is all about the neutrals and lace! If you really want to look festive, try adding a red clutch or heels to any outfit. Just make sure you keep it classy, ladies!

DON'T slum it in sweats for girls’ night in (unless they’re cute, of course). Just because you’re hanging out with just girls, it doesn’t mean you should bring out your oldest sweats and old paint T-shirt. We feel how we look, so throw on some cute PJs that make you look and feel cute! Then, of course, cue the DVD rentals, pop the popcorn, and sip on some wine.
