About a week ago, a few student activists at Dartmouth interrupted a welcome show for prospective students to emphasize the racial, homophobic and sexual assault issues that plague the school. Since their student protest, the activists have been bombarded with harsh online threats, forcing the campus to cancel classes last Wednesday in an attempt to restore some order. However, shutting down the school for a day did little to combat the issues, and tensions on campus are still high. Many attribute the source of these problems to the school’s Greek system.
