Environmental officials are worried that the Central Park Lake has been exposed to a predator fish called the northern snakehead, which has the ability to live out of water for days. New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation is asking fishermen to put any captured northern snakeheads into a secured container and then notify park officials. This bizarre, spine-toothed fish is illegal in most US states and has no natural predator.
