Last night 22-year-old newcomer Yasiel Puig hit a grand slam against the Atlanta Braves in the bottom of the eighth inning, giving the Dodgers a 5-0 lead that the team maintained the rest of the game. It was only the Rookie's fourth game, but the Dodger administration is hoping Puig's early success is an indicator of good things to come. The Dodgers will play the Braves again tonight, tomorrow and Sunday, and fans across L.A. are looking for a similar outcome as last night.
