A bug infected Facebook on Friday and rendered more than six million users’ personal contact up for grabs on the Internet. While users were unaware, the virus allowed complete access to these users’ email addresses and phone numbers for about 24 hours. Facebook security officials are offering rewards up to $500 for information as to where the bug originated. This “little accident” serves as a reminder that all information you type into the Facebook site is NOT always as secure as you assume it is.
