About 80 protesters crowded Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood to protest the George Zimmerman “not guilty” acquittal. This protest is just one of the many that have begun in L.A. after citizens became enraged with the all-female jury’s decision to allow Zimmerman to walk free. More than 100 police officers in full riot gear descended on the racial protest once it was declared an “unlawful gathering,” and arrests were made early Monday morning as a result. Similar protests continue to block major California freeways as concerned citizens vocalize their frustrations.
