College students who are all too familiar with the stress of back to school dorm shopping are being targeted by mega store Target (pun intended) for a brand new marketing endeavor: a virtual dorm room. How does it work? Target has hired five Youtube personalities to attend “Bullseye University,” which is basically them hanging out in Target decorated dorm rooms in a L.A. building while people interact with them online. You can send them messages and watch them use Target dorm supplies, while being able to click and order anything you want on site. This hamster cage-like experiment is hoping to reach “millennials” who will be heading back to or starting college in the fall.
