Landon Donovan and Omar Gonzalez from the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team will play in key World Cup qualifiers in Costa Rica and against Mexico in Ohio.

"I'm excited. I'm happy to be a part of the group but we have real work to do,” said Donovan

"It's just an exciting time. These games are huge and I'm just happy that I'm getting the opportunity to be a part of it," said Gonzalez.

The U.S. national team is currently on a 12-match winning streak, and they have four matches left. The top three teams will automatically get to go to Brazil to compete in this year's World Cup tournament. The U.S. can definitely secure a spot in the top three if it wins its matches against Mexico and Costa Rica.
