Lakers fans were shocked and distraught when star player Kobe Bryant injured his Achilles tendon at a game against the Golden State Warriors back in April.

Now, Bryant is showing eagerness to get back on the court; he cuts his recovery time by making it a goal of his to do hard workouts more and more often until he gets back into shape.

Along with recovering from his injury, Bryant has been working with charities. Just last week, he was in Abu Dhabi and Dubai promoting health and fitness. He is also “receiving a DMCC trade license to do business in Dubai from the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority,” according to the LA Times.

Even thought his contract with the Lakers ends in one year, Bryant plans to continue playing basketball for another few years. No future plans are set yet.
