China, India, South Korea and Saudi Arabia are the top countries that send students to U.S. colleges and universities, according to a report released by the Institute of International Education.

The U.S. has seen a drastic increase in the number of Chinese international students; the number has nearly quadrupled! 61,765 Chinese students studied in the U.S during the 2003-2004 academic school year, and 235,597 studied during the 2012-2013 school year.

The number of Saudi Arabia international students studying in the U.S. increased by 30.5 percent in one year (there were 44,566 students enrolled during the 2012-2013 school year).

As for South Korea and India, the number of students enrolled slightly decreased from a year ago.
