Twitter revealed its new design plan on Tuesday, and the similarities to Facebook are impossible to ignore.

Like Facebook, Twitter will place your profile photo on the left side of the page, and there will be a larger "header" photo at the top -- very much like Facebook's cover photo.

However, that's where the similarities to Facebook end.

Below the cover -- I mean, header -- photo, you can view your Tweets, photos and videos, followers, who you're following and favorites.

Other main features include Best Tweets (Tweets that have more engagement will appear slightly larger), Pinned Tweet (you'll be able to pin one of your Tweets at the top of the page for your followers to see) and Filtered Tweets (you can choose which timelines to view on other people's profiles, such as Tweets, Tweets with photos, etc.).

Everyone will get this new profile within the next couple of weeks, but a small group of users already have it, including Zac Efron, John Legend, Kerry Washington and Floyd Mayweather.
