Forbes reports there is one "best" thing college students can do to land a job after graduation: getting a paid internship, with an emphasis on PAID.

InternMatch, a website that lists internships and entry-level jobs, found that 24.9 percent of college seniors who had done a paid internship recently received full-time offers, while just 8.2 percent of seniors who did unpaid internships landed offers.

The survey also suggested that the more internships college students do, the better chance they have of landing a job: 10.4 percent of seniors who had only done one internship landed jobs, while 24 percent who had done four or more found work.
