Sorry, USC and UCLA, but it looks like the University of Oregon will be winning the Pac-12 Conference title this year. That is, if you truly believe the media poll.

Media members voted in the preseason poll, and 232 votes were given to the Ducks (Oregon naturally also received the most votes to win the North Division, beating out Stanford and Washington).

UCLA was picked over USC, receiving the second-most Champion votes (231 votes, to be exact). With UCLA picked to win the South Division, USC settled in at the No. 2 spot.

But how much can we rely on this poll? Well, it has about a 53 percent success rate, correctly selecting the Conference Champion in 28 of 53 previous polls. Plus, it correctly selected that champion in 11 of the last 14 polls. Not too bad.
