If our  "A-" review of The Babadook didn't convince you to go see this chilling horror movie, then perhaps you'll listen to The Exorcist director William Friedkin.

On Twitter, the famed director who knows everything there is to know about horror, chills and terror said, "I've never seen a more terrifying film than The Babadook. It will scare the hell out of you as it did me."

That's quite a compliment Babadook director Jennifer Kent should gladly receive, especially since this is her first feature.

Friedkin also tweeted, "Psycho, Alien, Diabolique, and now THE BABADOOK."
