The 12U Wilshire Warriors Orange travel team is looking for 2 players to complete our roster for the 2016-17 season.

Our travel program includes the following:

Two practices per week at Pan Pacific Park during the fall with double header games at Mid Valley in Encino on Sundays. All our 12U players will have the opportunity to practice with our 13U squad and play up when needed.

We will field a team in the Burbank Players League in the winter followed by spring ball at Mid Valley. This will be followed by the Pony All-Star tournament in addition to friendlies and tune-up tournaments leading to our trip to play in Cooperstown, NY.

We are looking for 2 highly skilled players who will be required to meet our practice and playing schedule as well as the financial commitment to our team. In addition, candidates are required to play in a highly competitive Bronco division of the Wilshire Warriors Pony Baseball league in the spring of 2017.

The Wilshire Warriors 12U Orange team is coached by Scott Hong who played college ball at UC Irvine, Occidental College and GCC. He has coached The Clash and Toluca Lake travel teams in addition to two Wilshire Warrior travel teams. He has taken two teams to Cooperstown including most recently, the last 12U Wilshire Warrior Orange team which finished 32nd out of 104 teams after only being coached by Coach Hong for 10 months. This will be his second season with the new 12U Orange (formally 11U Orange) team.

Coach Hong wants his players to develop a mind for hard work as the team strives to achieve excellence in everything it does. He is looking to develop young men with good character both on and off the field. In addition to dedicated players, we want committed parents who will help our travel team succeed.
