The ’90s were his decade. He made a statement. Because of him, flannel shirts and ripped jeans became fashionable and could be seen on models rippin’ the runways.

All the while, Kurt Cobain, lead singer of Nirvana, was just being himself. Cobain, like many of us, lived a roller coaster life filled with ups and downs, twists and turns.

Kurt Cobain About a Son is a documentary about Cobain’s turbulent life, capturing his humble beginnings as a child up to the time he became a cultural icon. Through the use of Cobain’s previous interviews and sound bits, he becomes the narrator of his documentary and allows for the audience to hear him and see his world on a more intimate level. Sadly, no images of Cobain are shown in the film, except for during the credits.
