Blood in the Face throws a little bit on everyone, not fully broaching any one racial or supremacist group. Based on a book by James Ridgeway that discusses the history of white supremacy and its prominence in today’s culture even as we attempt to turn our contented cheek, this film bites off a little more than it can chew.

Shocking propaganda material from the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations and the American Nazi Party, in combination with interviews broaching subject matter from Jews and terrorist immigrants to the Bible, work to highlight every dark crevice of this country. With its heart in the right place and a film title that takes no prisoners, this film attempts to take on the world, but can hardly cover its surface.
