Sliding into depression, she tries suicide and ends up in rehab to repair the damage. In order to stay longer than the 10 days her insurance allows, Fielding feigns multiple personality disorder by taking on the persona of troubled baseball star Darryl Strawberry.

Using this new persona, Fielding proceeds to paint again, this time with great success. If you can buy this premise, you’ll stick around the El Centro Theatre long enough to catch the moral dilemma this play presents on the quality and importance of success in the arts.
