Director John Ruskin, founder of the Ruskin Group Theatre, debuted one of a series of plays for the summer with “Unbeatable Harold,” produced by Mike Myers. When Harold’s (played by Maury Sterling) passion for the art of hand puppetry goes to the extreme, his beautiful girlfriend, Wanda (Austin Highsmith), has other plans, namely not aiming for her dreams and being comfortable being complacent.

The play delves into the psyche of feelings and relationships. In July, newcomer to the theater, Bradley Stryker (“The OC,” “Cold Case,” “CSI NY”), and Sarah Maine (Live!, “Strange Snow,” “Babes in Arms”) will take over the lead roles.
