This weeklong program at L.A.’s Nuart Theatre is an exciting showcase of some of the best animated shorts from around the world.

On opening night, Feb. 18, Don Hertzfeldt ("Billy’s Balloon") will personally present some of the featured shorts. Highlights of The Animation Show 2005 will include Bill Plympton’s hilarious Oscar-nominated "Guard Dog"; the computer-generated "Rock Fish"; "Ward 13," about an encounter with crazy doctors; as well as "The Man With No Shadow" and Hertzfeldt’s own "The Meaning of Life."

Mike Judge ("King of the Hill," "Beavis and Butt-Head") will also be on hand during some of the week’s program, which will feature animated short award winners from some of the world’s top film festivals – including those which have taken place in Cannes, Chicago, Melbourne and San Francisco.
