Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, Cinespace – a swanky little venue in the heart of Hollywood – hosts its "Dinner and a Movie" series. Basically, this means you can make a reservation to munch on contemporary California cuisine and sip trendy cocktails while watching a movie – free of charge – projected onto a giant screen in the venue’s combination restaurant and screening room.

Coming up, running Feb. 24-26, Cinespace will screen last year’s breakout indie comedy Napoleon Dynamite, starring Jon Heder as a quirky teenager in small-town Idaho who lives with his grandmother, uncle and creepy 30-something brother who, among other things, spends his time cruising the Internet for the ladies. And while Napoleon’s home life may seem difficult, it’s even harder for this dance-loving youngster to figure out how to have a high school social life.

Menu items at Cinespace range from appetizers like Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Chinese Chicken Salad to entrees such as Pecan Encrusted Tilapia, Roasted Rosemary Chicken and Grilled Pizza with grilled shrimp and smoked gouda.

Cinespace is located at 6356 Hollywood Blvd., 2nd level, in Hollywood. For reservations, call )323)817-FILM (3456). For a full menu, directions or events calendar, visit www.cine-space.com.
