Members of the theater community should be well acquainted with the superstition that a terrible curse befalls anyone who says the name “Macbeth” in a theater. Unfortunately for the Zodiac Theater, Danny – a Midwestern science teacher who comes to Los Angeles in search of his drama teacher ex-girlfriend – had no idea about the curse and, after mentioning the cursed word, the ghosts of the theater’s past start to haunt the show.

While this is definitely a low-budget comedy and the acting sometimes puts the ham in Hamlet, the silly plot, soppy love story and sheer love of the theater make this a fun, if ridiculous film.
