The University of Southern California football program not only has muscle, but heart as well. The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed a resolution supporting a summer mentorship program through USC for at-risk middle school boys.

The Youth Impact Program selects boys from inner-city middle schools and sends them to summer camp to participate in academic sessions in the morning and football in the afternoon. The Congressional resolution acknowledges the accomplishments and goals of the program and encourages the expansion of the program to cities across the nation.
