Spanning four blocks, this public art event features 250 artists from around the United States that will showcase an upscale, yet affordable, array of paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints. The event features art tours, a dance performance, the artists’ award ceremony, in-booth artist demonstrations, a special exhibit curated by Los Angeles Art Association, a wine garden and delicious food. A destination to meet and interact with cultural tastemakers, it offers visitors the chance to bring home their own work of art by renowned emerging and established contemporary artists and designers at one of the Art Walk’s signature Silent Auctions and other artful living emporiums including a new pop up gallery with prints by hot, young local artists and an auction of skateboards created by artists, musicians, athletes, and creative minds. Out of Left Field is an art show depicting works from revolutionary artist Pat Riot and special guest artist, Bill Barminski. The prevailing theme is baseball as Riot uses innovative and tangible techniques to emulate the MLB’s beloved players; such as Jackie Robinson, Darryl Strawberry, Eddie Murray and more.
