Pocky, sharing the love with Happiness Tour in L.A. to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

The Pocky Share Happiness Tour is now in Los Angeles marking Pocky's 50th Anniversary. Pocky (pronounced pa-kee) is the perfect balance of high-quality, creamy chocolate dipped a crispy pretzel stick. An irresistible staple of Japanese culture, Pocky was introduced by Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd. in 1966 as "the world's first chocolate stick snack.” Pocky culture is about sharing happiness with friends, family, and co-workers - anyone, anytime, anywhere! Try it as a drink stirrer in your morning cup of coffee or with ice cream and other desserts.

"Pocky is very excited to celebrate its 50th Anniversary. Sharing happiness around the globe has been an amazing journey for us," said Mr. Akitoshi Oku, President of Ezaki Glico USA. "We are eager for this year's Share Happiness tour and ecstatic about attending the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago! Pocky snacks are bringing smiles to everyone's heart, and that makes us happy."

The Pocky truck (appropriately in the same shade of red as Pocky’s packaging) will be touring with its smiling, costumed brand ambassadors handing out free boxes of Pocky and other fun giveaways. Tour locations are updated daily on Twitter @Pocky. Come visit the Pocky truck and its colorful crew in Los Angeles through May 29.

Pocky flavors currently include:

Chocolate – The original Pocky is a tasty, crispy cookie biscuit stick dipped in rich, dark chocolate cream.

Strawberry – The delicious flavor of ripe strawberries blended into a sweet, pink cream that covers a tasty, crispy cookie biscuit stick.

Matcha Green Tea – The distinct flavor of finely powdered green tea ("matcha") blended into a smooth green tea cream dipped around a tasty, crispy cookie biscuit stick.
