I thought Meryl Strep was outstanding and Amy Adams was a delight in "Julie & Julia" tonight at the Block. It was a great, enjoyable movie!

I saw "Julie and Julia" tonight at the Block. Thanks for the tickets Sean. The Movie was witty, quirky and funny, Meryl Streep is amazing as normal and completely transformed herself into Childs for this role. Amy Adams was cute and funny like usual. This movie had some really enduring moments and the fact that it was a true story made it even more intriguing!

Just saw J&J... thank you for the tix. I did not care for it myself, but others seemed to like it. A little bland for my taste.

Now, on to the screening recap. We had a great turnout last night for The Ugly Truth. Every Campus Circle person who showed up, got in. I checked a lot of passes and 99% of them were legit. Based on the feedback I'm getting, the film is good and everyone had a great time. It is also nice to meet members that have been commenting on the website. I like interacting with all of you and look forward to seeing more of you at other events. In the meantime, check out our articles on the website and feel free to comment about them. I'm off to Real Food Daily to get some dinner and then heading over to Old Navy for socks and underwear. For what it's worth, I wear boxers.

I love the genre of romantic comedy and this one did not disappoint--intelligent dialogue, great chemistry between Girard Butler and Catherine Heigl, and all in one, great light entertainment for both guys and gals for a warm summer evening. The only negative was that Girard Butler would have been so much more appealing with a clean shaven face--he just looked scruffy to me.

Entertainingly funny and great storyline! This is a must see for all those chick fans who love a great romantic comedy. Bring your significant others because they will get a kick at how relationships develop from a male perspective vs a female one. Loved it!! Two thumbs up!

The movie was hilarious for both guys and gals. A bit cruder than I anticipated but still really enjoyable. Heigl and Butler were a great romcom duo.
