The movie could have been really good, but poor acting in parts and bad writing left me wanting more. It had its good moments though, a Michael Bay production always has good action.

My friend and I really enjoyed seeing "Unknown" on Wednesday night at the Block of Orange. It was suspenseful and left you on the edge of your seat. We never saw the ending coming. We'll definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you Campus Circle!

I am so thankful as always for the opportunity to attend a screening, but I have to be honest... I thought The Unknown was atrocious. The writing was trite and cliche, which made the acting look terrible. There were some awful lines, and the story just got silly. I so wanted to like it but it did not do it for me or my guest.

Taken was infinitely better. When Liam gets in the hands of someone like Luc Besson , then they are an unstoppable cinematic force, unparrallelled in modern times, in the Gospels, but Unknown was lame.

Liam Neeson carried the movie. Loved him. Overall, Unknown could've been great, but here's what needed fixing. January Jones was poorly cast. The character needed strength & intensity but instead it was lack luster and flat. 2 key scenes (the musuem & office) needed stronger writing. Diane Kruger was a good, but it's also nice to have a female who has chemistry with the leading man. I'd say it was a 3 out of 5

Despite that there's no applause from the audience in Century City, I like "Unknown" because of the suspense involved in the story. I don't agree of the review on LA Weekly that Neeson is following Nicolas Cage's footsteps since he transforms himself from an award-winning actor to an ass-kicker. The Scottish star runs a smooth performance as compared to that of the late Charles Bronson & as well as the characters in a common plot leaving me interested throughout the film. On the other hand, Cage conforms himself with the likes of Stallone & Statham with raw macho outlandishness in ridding of bad guys. GRADE: B

The movie was as equally intense as most of Liam's movies. It was an interesting plot twist and a job well done to keep the movie from being too similar to Taken. Great movie and good crowd last night. Very grateful for the screening opportunity.
