    Loved it! I really wanted to see it 'cause I knew there was focus on music with a good soundtrack, and it didn't disappoint. Funny but sad - showing the reality of many relationships. Good to see something offsetting the glut of rom-coms coming out. Loved the whole greeting card deal too - that's what I do! Thanks for the tix CC!

    Hope everyone had a great weekend. I went hiking at Will Rogers State Park off of Sunset in the Palisades. If you like to hike, check it out. There is a lot of wildlife around (deer and coyotes). I recommend going in the late afternoon once it cools down. It's beautiful. I'm glad to see all the dialogue going on regarding the screenings. A couple of things: (1) I still offer some automatic first come, first serve RSVPs. We are currently doing this with 500 Days. You just need to include a picture. (2) Regarding the screening lines - please understand that I'm a partner for the screenings. I can only make suggestions and can't dictate how to handle guests on line. The film companies are aware of this problem and are striving to fix it. I must say since I've been doing the screenings over the years there have been improvements but it still is not perfect.

    I saw this movie last week in Irvine and it's very good. Off-beat and unexpected in a good way. I love the way that downtown Los Angeles is used as almost another character in the movie.

    Now the studios only give Campus Circle twenty-five percent (25%) of the tickets that they used to be able to give away, so a lottery is the only fair way for Sean to distribute those too few tickets that he still has available. The studios gave all the other tickets that Campus Circle used to have to LA Weekly, and MyCinemaAccess, and Gofobo, and the other websites that give out free tickets. So now ALL the companies share, so there are LESS tickets for everyone to go see a free movie, because there are LESS screenings at theaters now! (That way the studios save a lot of money by renting FEWER theaters.) Get it? It's NOT Sean's fault!!! Quit blaming Sean. Just be happy and be patient!

Sean no longer has control of the line-crashers ... because Campus Circle is not the ONLY company at the screenings now, and Sean can't tell their people what to do and he can't tell them the way to stop the line-crashers.     This movie is awesome - go see it! It is funny, sweet, quirky, romantic and also surprisingly moving. It's honest depiction of a relationship's untidy progress is so true that I've been relating the plot to my own life, more than once, since I saw it. It may have the same effect on you. Warning: By the end of this movie you'll probably end up crushing big-time on Joseph Gordon Levitt (sigh) even if you've never took notice of him before!
