Thanks for the tixs CC. Great action movie. Loved the storyline. The best part was the opening with the unexpected train reck. It was very well done. The special effects were amazing. I would definitely recommend seeing this movie at the theatres only. The alien scenes are dark grey/black and difficult to see on a small screen TV. Good for both adults and children.

Thank you for the Super 8 screening at Arclight. It was great. Too bad it was in a just over 200 seat theater. I liked how CC was checking passes and id's, but I didn't like that once checked we weren't given some type of ticket (like a ticket with a campus circle logo or numbered paper showing the order in line). Each ticket could be good for entrance of 2 people. If not given a piece of paper showing that we were already checked in, could lead to line cutting by others.

I still normally got in. The couple of times I didn't get in was because they started letting other "sponsors" in first. I dont understand how some groups have priority over other groups like radio winners and what I really dont understand about these individuals is that they also have huge groups. How did they get so many tickets through the radio or OC register? This and so much more was what happened when I went to see the Hangover II. Me and my friend where lucky enough to get tickets and we arrived at 5 and because of the line hoppers and "sponsors" being let in we waited outside. Then at about 7:38. 8 minutes after the movie was supposed to start security came and said that the event was full unapologetically and left.

The truth of the matter is that screenings are always overbooked. There is no one particular problem, because the system is designed to not get everybody in. The past few that i was lucky enough to win tickets too we were put in the smallest theater and then there have been too many event sponsors. If a theater seats 180 people then do we really need 5 different groups giving out at least 100 tickets each? Also there is no one particular person or group responsible for the line growing, its a fact that most people dont arrive with their guest and therefor almost everyone has someone join them, so you are going to be pushed back from when you arrive until when you go in. Yes 1 person shouldn't save spots for a group, but I rarely see any large groups join a person in line. It sounds like certain CC members are using these boards to cause trouble against people they simply do not like, that isn't right. This is here to talk to CC and thank them, not cause trouble.

You know it is just not us viewers that can lose re this situation. Campus Circle has invested a lot of time and resources to create a fine website and services. It looks like CC has made the big time now and hopefully big profits for its efforts. Good for them! It would be tragic if all this was lost because of people who only think of themselves. Continued problems and complaints could result in studios pulling their films for screenings. We would all lose.

To all of you complaining about not getting in to a free screening due to line-cutters and people "saving spots". It is truly frustrating and could be viewed as a waste of time, but realize it is not Campus Circle to blame for these other people's rude and selfish actions. Next time speak to a security guard or usher at the cinema to alert them to the situation. We here in LA are very fortunate to have so many opportunities to see films before they are released to the rest of the country and many times for free! So don't look the gift horse in the mouth, and be happy for the movies you HAVE gotten to see for free and hope for better luck next time.

The worst part of screenings is that there are a finite number of seats in a theater. Once that number is reached, people in line should be told that the theater is full, and then they don't wait for no reason. Another problem is the extreme number of people that cut in line, which means that people tend to get to screenings earlier and earlier, to save tons of spaces for those arriving late. Simple let a person save one seat, and give out numbers to people in line and then they can leave and come back when seating is started. Has been done at other times and is greatly appreciated.
