@chi2stin3 2 hours is not early at all. If me and BAM6AM88 had it our way we would have been there much earlier.

@ BAM6AM88 & lclbruddah808-- Thank you so much for your responses, much appreciated. I'm getting a little anxious about the premiere that's all. I sure will try to get there early, don't know if 2hrs is a bit too early? Hope you guys win tickets again this time around.

@chi2stin3 We parked in the Hollywood and Highland Center parking garage on orange and Hollywood Blvd. It was two bucks with validation. well at first it was a little chaotic because the line for tickets was mixed with both Kiss FM winners and Campus Circle people(which were highly outnumbered btw) and we weren't sure if that was our line or not. But once we got in line there were people who were dressed casual all the way up to people who were dressed in short dresses and had a clutch. HOWEVER, if we had realized before hand it was a hollywood premiere, we would have dressed more appropriately. On another note, be prepared to stand in line for quite a while. We were in it for at least two hours. Good luck!

BAM6AM88 & lclbruddah808 out of curiosity can you give me the run down on what the premiere night is like-from how the dress code is like, parking to the entire waiting processes when you get there. Thanks.

Thanks for your compliment by the way, hg1968. I sure did register for both screenings (LA & OC) trying to increase my chances of scoring at least one of the two. Super excited--could be scoring the LA redcarpet premiere passes of 'Valentine's Day' @ the Grauman's Theatre

Every time I go to a Campus Circle event, it's chaos. I came for the Dear John premiere and ended up in the overflow theater. Fine, no stars and no free popcorn and soda. Got a free film. Just wish it hadn't turned into a riot trying to get in. Maybe the guard shouldn't have started from the back, telling people to follow him. He could have started at the front and in an orderly line, we could have walked. God forbid anyone use a little common sense at Campus Circle screening.

I just got back from the Dear John Premiere at the Chinese Theater. The movie wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. I would rank it more of a must see DVD. What I did enjoy very much was being in the general atmosphere of the Chinese Theater amongst all the celebs and production groups. Overall my best friend and I were highly satisfied. Thanks Sean, you rock!

I saw "Dear John" almost 2 weeks ago at the Sony Picture Studios in Culver City, CA. The drama was lighter than that of "The Notebook" as compared to 2 Miller beer brands. The romance between Tatum's & Seyfried's characters remained constant. The war scenes were way too light (Why did the soldiers look daisy-fresh? It's like watching those Special Forces media ads such as the Marines, the Army & the National Guard.). I guess the director wasn't interested in creating extreme violence despite the PG-13 rating.
